General usage and Disclaimer

The Reviv One appliance is an appliance designed to be worn in the mouth to help address various issues related to dental biomechanics. It is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by the FDA.

Reviv makes no claims to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The information provided on our website and in our community is based on personal experience and is educational in nature.

You acknowledge that you are using the Reviv One appliance at your own risk and that results may vary from person to person.

You agree that Reviv is not responsible for any injuries, discomfort, or adverse effects that may result from the use of the Reviv One appliance.

Recommended Usage

You agree to follow the recommended usage guidelines for the Reviv One appliance, which typically include:

Initially wearing the appliance for shorter periods and gradually increasing wear time

Not wearing the appliance while eating

Cleaning the appliance regularly

Taking breaks from wearing the appliance if experiencing significant discomfort

You acknowledge that the process of wearing the Reviv One appliance may cause temporary discomfort, including:

Headaches or pressure in the head

●

Soreness in the jaw, teeth, or gums

●

Changes in bite alignment

●

Temporary changes in speech

You understand that these are normal parts of the process and not necessarily signs of something going wrong.

If you have veneers, crowns, bridges, or other dental restorations, you acknowledge that you must exercise caution when using the Reviv One appliance. The appliance may exert pressure on your teeth that could cause dental restorations to loosen or dislodge. Reviv strongly recommends consulting your dentist before use if this applies to you, and agrees that Reviv is not liable for any damage to existing dental restorations resulting from use of the appliance.

You confirm that you do not have loose teeth, are not currently wearing braces, and do not have untreated dental or gum disease. If any of these conditions apply, you agree to consult a licensed dental professional before using the Reviv One appliance.

Keeping the appliance away from hot water, dishwashers, and direct sunlight, as heat may deform the device

If you experience gum irritation or notice any signs of gum recession, you agree to pause use immediately and allow your gums to fully heal before resuming. When you resume, you should do so gradually, starting with shorter wear periods and increasing slowly. Persistent or worsening gum recession should be evaluated by a dental professional before continuing use.

Important Biomechanical Considerations

You acknowledge that you understand the Reviv process may create a posterior open bite (a condition where the back teeth do not touch when biting down) over time.

You understand that if a posterior open bite develops, it must be supported either by:

Continuing to wear the Reviv One appliance or a similar appliance at night, OR

●

Consulting with a dentist about placing composite material on your teeth to support the bite

You understand that failing to support a posterior open bite could lead to:

●

Regression of progress

●

Potential development of TMJ issues

●

Structural changes in the skull, spine, and body

You agree to consult with a healthcare professional if you experience any severe or concerning symptoms while using the Reviv One appliance.

You understand that participating in the EGK community is optional and that any advice or suggestions received from other community members should not replace professional medical advice.

You acknowledge that sharing your experience in the community is voluntary and that you do so at your own discretion.

If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have sleep apnea, you agree to consult a physician before using the Reviv One appliance. This product is not designed to address sleep apnea and is not a substitute for medically approved sleep apnea treatments.

You acknowledge that in rare cases, if the appliance becomes loose or dislodged during sleep, it may present a choking hazard. You agree to stop use immediately and consult a dental professional if this occurs.
